Elias Salazar conducted the evening of memories that featured holiday favorites from flicks that brought the spirit of the season to the silver screen. The evening concluded with a sing along. The packed house stood and sang such favorites as Joy to the World, Hark The Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night and others.

Kevin McNulty acted as the narrator who guided the audience through the special evening.

The next performance will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 with "It's All About Jazz". This will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 315 East Main Street. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students (through 12th grade).

MSO President Jane McNulty reminded everyone that the second annual GREEN TIE AFFAIR and CASINO NIGHT was scheduled for March 9, 2019 at the Stones River Country Club.

As the local symphony's 37th season continues, the next concert will be on February 14 and the silver screen theme continues with "Love Songs Through The Movies". Then on April 25, 2019, it will be "Night at the Movies--The Sequel".
