An employee at the Cash Express store on Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro has been accused of stealing money.

The suspect allegedly had friends come in and take out loans. The employee would then sign off on the loan paperwork and take 50% of the loan amount with the friend getting the remaining 50% that they were approved for, according to a police report.

The information that WGNS obtained on Monday shows that the 20 year old subject admitted to the theft. The case is under investigation. At this point the amount stolen rings in at just under $3,500.
