A 21-year old Hazelwood Street man faces multiple counts of aggravated assault after being seen naked and waving a gun on Lascassas Pike. It happened around 8 Sunday morning near Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Murfreesboro Police Officer Cory Schalburg reports being called to the location in reference to an armed, naked man.

According to his account, he deployed his rifle at the Dana Downs complex when the suspect, Cadari Lindsey, went behind building G and fired multiple shots. Several patrol units followed the suspect and noticed the slide on his gun was locked. That's when Lindsey was tased. He was also pepper sprayed after the report shows he continued to resist arrest. Lindsey was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg.

Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans tells NewsRadio WGNS Lindsey will face eight counts of aggravated assault. He adds the nearly dozen officers responding "relied on their extensive training and experience. They also exercised incredible restraint while deescalating this incredibly dangerous incident."
