Murfreesboro Police Chief Michael Bowen said, " "It is a great chance to spend time with your neighbors and the Murfreesboro police officers who patrol your neighborhood."

The Murfreesboro Police Department, along with Murfreesboro Housing Authority and Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation will again this free event for local families.

There will be plenty of food, fun for children, music and information on how to reduce crime in your neighborhood.

Again, that's 5:00 to 8:00PM tonight on the historic Murfreesboro square, at SportsCom (on DeJarnette Ln. at Memorial Blvd.) as well as the Patterson Community Center (521 Mercury Blvd.).
