On Aug. 14 at two locations on Prairie Plains the back doors were kicked in and jewelry and lock boxes were taken from both locations.

Both residences had surveillance cameras which provided pictures of those involved. Detective James Sherrill was able to determine that the car used in those two burglaries was a rental vehicle.

The next day Deputy Steven Sharketti saw the car matching the description from the burglaries at a restaurant in Manchester. Investigator Jason Dendy went to the restaurant and after investigating tied the people to a burglary that had just occurred on Sears Roebuck Road. He found a package that had been left on the front porch of a residence by the post office.

A female in the car provided information about the burglaries on Prairie Plains Road. Charges against her will be presented to the Coffee County Grand Jury.

As of Wednesday, Bly is still behind bars in Manchester at this time. His bond is set at $35,000.
