New Attendence Supervisor named for the Rutherford County School System

Current Siegel Middle School principal Tom Delbridge has been named the attendance supervisor for Rutherford County Schools.

Delbridge will replace longtime attendance supervisor Bob Mayes, who is retiring from the position at the end of the school year.

“We all know Tom and the exceptional job he has accomplished leading Siegel Middle School to become the outstanding school it is,” said Richard Zago, the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. “He has many years of experience at a variety of student-centered jobs and we are delighted to welcome him to the RCS central office team.

The process will begin soon to hire a new principal for Siegel Middle School. Delbridge will complete the year as principal and join the central office in June.

The school district is comprised of 46 schools and more than 40,000 students.
