New Doctors are Welcomed Into Murfreesboro Medical Clinic

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC) has announced the arrival of four new physicians: Pediatrician, Amanda Petty Gammel, D.O., Ophthalmologist and Cornea/Refractive Surgery Specialist, Ryan Drumright, M.D., and Family Medicine Physicians, Molly Eaton, M.D., and Paul Myers, M.D.

The great thing about Murfreesboro Medical Clinic is that all services are under one roof.

Dr. Amanda Petty Gammel, D.O., returns to MMC as a Pediatrician after having been an employee while in college. After furthering her education, she returned to her Murfreesboro roots and be close to her family and friends. Dr. Petty Gammel received her bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University before attending Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. She completed her pediatrics residency at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis. In addition to providing all aspects of general pediatric care, she enjoys time with her family, playing tennis, and cooking. She and her husband, Jessy, have two children, Abigail and Henry, and are residing in Murfreesboro.


Dr. Ryan Drumright, M.D., an Ophthalmologist, is also a Rutherford County native, who grew up in the Smyrna area. He adds a special set of expertise to the Ophthalmology department through his practice of Cornea treatments and Refractive Surgery, otherwise known as LASIK surgery. Dr. Drumright earned his bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University, where he also met his now wife of 9 years. He furthered his education by attending University of Tennessee Health Science Center to receive his medical degree, and then traveled to Jackson, Mississippi for his residency. Gainesville, Florida was the last place he traveled to complete his fellowship, specializing in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery. Dr. Drumright enjoys golfing, sporting events, attending church activities, and time with his wife, Jana, and son, Nolan. They are also expecting and excited to add to their family!

Dr. Molly Eaton, M.D., Family Medicine, is originally from Lockport, New York and practiced for 10 years in the Buffalo, New York area before moving to Murfreesboro to join MMC. She did her undergraduate work at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Chemistry. She received both her medical degree, and completed her residency at State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her niece.

Dr. Paul Myers, M.D., Family Medicine, attended Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He went on to Memphis, Tennessee to earn his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Traveling once more, he completed his residency at the University of Louisville Family Medicine in Glasgow, Kentucky. Dr. Myers joins the Family Medicine department with a special interest in diabetes management and geriatrics. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with wife, Angel, and their three children, Madison,

Kinsley, and Seth. He has a background in ministry, and is excited to be back to the Middle Tennessee area to practice medicine.
