Gateway Corner, a 19,000 square foot commercial center located at the corner of Medical Center Pkwy and Gateway Blvd., has been approved by the Murfreesboro planning commission and Gateway design review committees. Steven Dotson with Red Realty told WGNS, "We waited until we received all our approvals before we signed any tenants, so we will start finalizing these leases and be able to announce tenants over the next 90 days."

Dotson said they have interest from restaurants, retail, office and medical users. He further commented, "So it should be a nice mixture of businesses for the best corner location yet to be developed in Murfreesboro. We hope to break ground on the site work in March, building going up this summer and with a grand opening set for Spring 2017."

In addition to the unique design, there will be park like features on the front and left of the building with park benches, picnic tables, sidewalks that will tie to the greenway and a landscape package that will be several hundred thousand dollars.
