A West Main Street resident was robbed and assaulted on New Years morning. The woman told police she heard a knock on her apartment door and when she answered it, a man was standing before her asking for money. As she started to close the door, the culprit threw a drink on her and charged inside pushing her to the ground.

Once inside the apartment, the man got into a wrestling match with the victims boyfriend. The female’s boyfriend told police that he did indeed owe the man money, but did not know the subjects name. Needless to say, an arrest has not been made.

How much money was owed in this situation that would make someone want to assault a female and force his way into a residence? Good question. The answer: $20.
