The defending state runner up Siegel Lady Stars volleyball team is under new leadership.

Patricia Flowers has been hired as the new head coach, replacing Shawn Robinson who left for a job at the county school's central office. The Lady Stars reached the state tournament in each of Robinson's five years with the program.

Flowers comes from Cleveland High School in Bradley County and had her teams in the state tournament in 2016 and 2017. They were defeated by Siegel this year in the section on the way to the Lady Star's appearance in the state title game.
