No pet adoption costs at PAWS on John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro

As a part of NBC's National Clear the Shelters Event, those looking for a new, furry companion can adopt a pet from Rutherford County Pet Adoption & Welfare Services office (PAWS) at no cost August 18-19.

Over a hundred shelter pets are in need of forever homes and really need your help. In addition, over $200 worth of free VIP Petcare services will be given out to each adopter. We invite you out to capture some amazing moments this weekend. More information is below.

WHAT: No-cost adoption fees, multiple local vendors on-site (including VIP Petcare) and hundreds of guests to celebrate National Clear the Shelters

WHERE: PAWS, 285 John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro

WHEN: Friday, August 18, 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, August 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
