We've gotten lots of questions here at the radio station about the road work on North Thompson Lane. The work, which started last week, has snarled traffic there, at times. Lane closures around the intersection with Sulpher Springs Road will bring turn lane improvements and signalization. That work is being done by the City of Murfreesboro.

In the area between Northwest Broad and Memorial Boulevard, the State Department of Transportation is milling the two-lane section of North Thompson between Royal Drive and Siegel Road. Guardrail and traffic signal loop installation there is being done at night. Expect slower traffic on North Thompson Lane, between Northwest Broad and Memorial, while the work continues.
