The Patriots' defense is only giving up about four-points per game while the Tigers are outscoring opponents 496-to-121.

Whitehaven coach Rodney Salsberry says Mr. Football finalist Kylan Watkins, who has nearly 2,000 yards rushing this season, will get plenty of carries. Oakland coach Kevin Creasy says there's no doubt the Tigers will want to line up and run the football...

Oakland's Jacoby Stevens beat out Watkins for the Class 6A Mr. Football Back award. Whitehaven's Aubrey Miller was the Class 6A Mr. Football Lineman.

Coach Creasy will be on this Saturday morning around 10:30 for a special edition of the Prentice Alsup Heating and Air Coaches Corner, fueled by Donut Country. That's after our first girls basketball coaches show and MTCS Cougar Corner which all begins at 8am.

Plus, we will have coverage of the Blue Cross Bowl from Cookeville beginning at 6pm here on NewsRadio WGNS State Farm Prep Football. Kickoff between the Patriots and Tigers is set for 7pm.
