A resident spotted Murfreesboro Police Officer Chris Williams helping a student at Mitchell Neilson Elementary School. A youngster's shoe lace became stuck in the bicycle chain. Officer Williams took the time to get him safely across the street and then freed the shoe lace by repositioning the chain. The local citizen who witnessed this act of kindness said, "Now that's a shining example of the commitment these officers have for citizens in our community."
