In the back yard of a home on Queens Court in Blackman, police found a stolen motorcycle. Police also arrested Michael West on a warrant charging him for stealing the bike that was found under a tarp. When police arrived at the address, the suspect’s mother gave authorities permission to search the back yard where they found the motorcycle.

The victim of the stolen motorcycle was advised where his bike was located so that it could be picked up. We confirmed the motorcycle was a 2003 Suzuki 600.

The 37-year old suspect was charged with theft and failure to appear in court for a previous case. He is not being released from the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center at this point, because he is wanted by another department.
