One Suspect Turns Himself In to SPD

Glenn Roby, one of the suspects in the Saturday night shooting and robbery in Smyrna, turned himself in to authorities around noon on Sunday (1/3/2016).

Smyrna Police Sergeant Bobby Gibson told NewsRadio WGNS that Robby was charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

During the Saturday night robbery at 203 Caroline Lee Drive in Smyrna, several rounds were fired in the home, one of which struck Dallas Padgett in the chest. The two suspects then ran out of the residence and shot at two young females in a car outside the home before leaving in a dark colored vehicle. Fortunately, no one else was shot.

The gunshot victim was first taken to Smyrna's StoneCrest Medical Center, and then flown to Skyline Hospital in Nashville. He is in critical condition. No other victim was injured during this incident.

Officials report that the victim, Dallas Padgett, is currently in stable condition at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, where he was flown by helicopter Saturday night.

The investigation revealed that Glenn Roby and Adrin Ohaekwe were the alleged perpetrators. They were found to have robbed Dallas Padgett, Graden Strang, Luke Murray inside the home over the sale of marijuana.

An arrest warrant for Adrin Ohaekwe remains outstanding. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the location of Ohaekwe is asked to contact Detective Rick Hall at 615-267-5012 or 615-459-6644 or their local law enforcement agency.
