Osborne Named Instructional Effectiveness Coordinator for Murfreesboro Schools

Dr. Linda Gilbert, Director of Murfreesboro City Schools, has announced the appointment of Dr. Kimberly Osborne as Coordinator of Instructional Effectiveness and Assessment. Osborne assumes this position after serving as the principal of Reeves-Rogers.

"Kimberly's ability to utilize data to address a child's talents and challenges will be a huge asset to our instruction team," says Gilbert. "In her new role, she will oversee all assessment for the district and help principals and teachers better meet the needs of each individual child."

Osborne has served in an administrative role with Murfreesboro City Schools since 2012. Previously, Osborne served as the district numeracy coach in Metro-Nashville Public Schools. Osborne has conducted extensive professional development in STEM, classroom management, and teaching strategies. She has served as a state math trainer, a member of Houghton Mifflin's Elementary Science Tennessee Teacher Advisory Board, and was a member of the MNPS/Vanderbilt Leadership Academy. She received her Bachelors, Masters, EdS and EdD degrees from MTSU.
