A sizable theft was reported at the Target store on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. A man and a woman entered the store and selected multiple prepaid cards. The female then started talking to the cashier about her credit card that failed to go through. During that time, the female was able to confuse the cashier into cashing out the sale, even though cash was never handed to the Target clerk. The duo managed to somehow get away with over $2,000 in clothing and prepaid gift cards.

A police report that WGNS obtained, shows that the duo have hit other Target stores in Middle Tennessee and have been caught on camera. Target investigators believe they know who the female is, but have not been able to identify the male.
