This is a story that may turn the stomach of gun collectors. Well over $20,000 worth of firearms and jewelry have been stolen from an address in Murfreesboro. WGNS is not releasing the exact location of the theft, but we can report that the incident was reported in the Blackman area at the home of a local attorney.

We have been able to confirm that nearly 25-guns were taken, some of which date back to 1911. Rifles, handguns and shotguns were stolen in the gun heist. Detectives are investigating the case and according to an M-P-D Incident Report, the date of when the theft actually occurred is undetermined. Evidently, the guns were taken without the owners’ knowledge. No forced entry was visible when police arrived after the owner discovered they were missing.
