An anonymous call to the Murfreesboro Police Department in reference to a domestic disturbance sent officers to 902 Greenland Drive (Campus Villa Apartments). Once at the apartment in question, police spoke to 32-year old Henry A. Taylor who told them he was the only one in the apartment. Taylor then told police they could enter the unit to have a look around.

Officer Joshua Meredith wrote that Taylor told him there was "weed" in the apartment. Police found the marijuana along with hydrocodone pills, crack cocaine and a digital scale. The officer also found a box of sandwhich bags near the scale that had marijuana residue on it.
