Jurors heard more testimony Wednesday concerning the child abuse charges against Jacob Pearman, who is on trial for the Valentine's Day 2013 murder of his wife Carla and the abuse of her then seven-year old son. Murfreesboro Post contributor Sam Stockard reports in a videotape showed in the courtroom Carla Pearman broke down as she talked to her husband, at Murfreesboro Police Department, begging him to swear that he didn't assault her 7-year-old son the morning he was arrested for child abuse on Dec. 14, 2012. Earlier Wednesday, witnesses for the prosecution painted a picture of Pearman as a man who isolated Carla, keeping her from friends and family.
