Dick Palmer will be presented the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 7th Annual Gala of the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame, which is back in Murfreesboro at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center. Dick is the longtime play-by-play voice of the Lady Raiders and Blue Raider baseball. He also broadcast many MTSU football and men's basketball games over the years.

Dick has the on-air talent for all levels of sports in all three grand divisions of Tennessee. From college and professional broadcasts in Jackson and Memphis, to the Vol Network in Knoxville, to statewide high school broadcasts for the TSSAA, and here in Murfreesboro for the last 36 years on the Blue Raider Network. Locally, he's been a fixture on the former WMTS as well as WGNS.

Dick is True Blue through and through, he was a 1960 MTSU graduate.
