Pinnacle Financial Partners recently invested $5,000 in Special Kids and named the local organization one of their top non-profit partners for 2013.

Pinnacle Financial Partners seeks to make a positive impact on their community and has set out to reach this goal through their ongoing support of Special Kids since 2007. Through their $5,000 investment, Pinnacle will help provide speech language pathology services at Special Kids to children with special needs.

The goal of Special Kids' speech language pathology program is to meet the speech, language, and feeding needs in the middle Tennessee community.  In 2012, approximately 74% of the children who received speech services at Special Kids had difficultly receiving the same services elsewhere due to inability to pay and availability of services. With the help of Pinnacle Financial Partners and other investors, Special Kids is able to continue serving these children in need and helping them to reach new developmental milestones.

Everyday Special Kids receives referrals for children who need services but do not have the ability to pay. With the help of Pinnacle Financial Partners and other businesses and individuals in the community, Special Kids is able to focus on meeting the needs of those children regardless of their ability to pay.
