Murfreesboro Police have identified the dead man found around 4:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon (2/5/2017) at 610 Dill Lane as 20-year old Dreyll Lamont Keeley.

When police arrived on Dill Lane near Mercury Boulevard, Murfreesboro fire crews were already on the scene and providing CPR on the subject who was described as a black male with a single gunshot wound to his head. Shortly after the arrival of officers, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police recovered a .38 Derringer handgun that was located in the tree line near the deceased body. At this point detectives feel the man's injuries were self-inflicted. However, this will not be confirmed until the autopsy is completed.

The case is under investigation.
