Internet Exclusive: Joe Carr, conservative Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, today released the following statement regarding the debt limit increase being considered by the Senate.

“A clean debt limit increase would be yet another by-product of Lamar’s inept leadership. This latest impending failure has made Senator Alexander’s claim of being a ‘conservative problem solver’ a complete farce.  On the major issues, Senator Alexander has neither solved the problem, or even bothered to put up a fight.”

“Just as we saw with the fight to defund Obamacare, when the time comes to fight, Senator Alexander quickly surrenders to President Obama and Harry Reid. In contrast, I’m offering voters real conservative leadership that will fight for less spending, smaller government, and to stop Obamacare.”
