Rutherford County's projected population in 2020 is 347,974! The demand for housing will continue to push property values upwards. Rutherford County's upcoming 2018 equalization and property reappraisal will bring property values to market value and distribute the tax burden equitably among tax payers.

Property Assessor Rob Mitchell said in an email, "You may check your current property value at the Property Assessor's website here:

Mitchell went on to state, "Compare the data on the Rutherford County Property Assessors Website with the most current market estimates from a realtor's website. That may give you an indication of how your values have changed since the last equalization in 2014."

By year 2030, the population count in Rutherford County is expected to be over 420,000 residents.
