During this holiday season, many residents are facing a struggle with alcohol addiction. We spoke to one local resident who was living in Georgia about three years ago when he hit what he called “Bottom.” Perhaps his story can help you or a loved one this Thanksgiving...

That was Salvation Army Family Store Manager Mark Sheridan. He told us that when he hit bottom in 2010, he was homeless.

As you have probably seen around Rutherford County, the Salvation Army is in the midst of their annual kettle campaign. The campaign helps to raise money to support programs that help out local residents on a daily basis. Residents like Mark, who runs the local Salvation Army store at 125 S. Front Street in Murfreesboro.
