William "Tate" Hightower from Memphis, TN

A Memphis man by the name of William Hightower who was arrested in Murfreesboro on multiple charges dealing with the rape of a child was scheduled for court on September 13, 2017 to file a plea before Judge David Bragg. However, the man will soon have a new court date and is facing additional charges after being re-arrested while free on bond this past year.

As for now his court date is postponed, but not eliminated. In other words, Hightower will face four counts of Rape of a Child, Aggravated Sexual Battery, Sexual Battery by an authority figure and four counts of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure in the near future.

The victims in the case are allegedly 10 and 12 years old.

PLEASE NOTE: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The arrest records or information about an arrest that are published or reported on WGNS are not an indication of guilt, or evidence that an actual crime has been committed.
