The victim positively identified 18-year old Chriteris Allen during the hearing:

The victim testified the suspect walk passed her house in the Mitchell Neilson Schools area at least twice on November 14th before coming into her driveway holding a gun:

Some in the courtroom were in tears as the elderly victim then described being forced to perform oral sex and then being raped. After the alleged rape, the victim testified Allen used a vinegar solution in her garage to clean up his bodily fluids then demanded money from her wallet and took her cell phone. After that, she said the suspect walked out of her driveway and away into the neighborhood.

Allen, whose mother and other family members live in Murfreesboro, is from Jackson. An investigation by Murfreesboro and Jackson Police along with the TBI developed Allen as a suspect in this case along with two other alleged rapes there. He was arrested in Jackson December 6th after DNA evidence pointed to Allen as the suspect in the Murfreesboro rape.

The preliminary hearing was postponed earlier in the month due to wintry weather.
