To help reduce the number of teens and adults who are abusing prescription medicine, National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day – when thousands of pounds of unused and potentially addictive medications and other substances are removed from homes around the United States – will be held on Saturday, October 26.

Prescription drugs can be dropped off at the La Vergne City Hall, MTSU Health Services office and at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital on Saturday.

The Drug Take-Back Day events will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
