Five people were arrested Monday, November 25th following a six-month investigation of a prostitution ring in La Vergne. The Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) began receiving multiple tips in May from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and LPD patrol officers about suspicious activity in area hotels.

“Officers from CSU received information from Rutherford County Sheriff’s deputies as well as police officers from La Vergne Patrol,” said Sergeant John Eubank. “This type of agency cooperation was vital in breaking up this prostitution ring.”

I assure you that even if you do not see our law enforcement officials investigating, they are. We take all tips seriously and will vigorously pursue all leads regarding illegal activity.”
