We salute Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services' Paramedic Philip Nichols. He is with the county's Special Operations unit and also a SWAT Medic. He taught teachers at Rockvale Elementary School CPR, the classes on Stop the Bleed, and Active Shooter. Paramedic Nichols said the teachers now have the skills to respond automatically.
