State Representative Dr. Bryan Terry is out of the hospital and resting after being admitted with a pulmonary embolism last week. That's a condition in which one or more arteries in the lungs become blocked by a blood clot.

The Murfreesboro Republican was taken to the emergency room at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital last Thursday. He took to Facebook to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The first-term state lawmaker just last week filed papers to run for re-election.
