In today's digital world, a company's online presence is equally as important - if not more than - any brick-and-mortar location.

Reviews now live online for eternity, and consumers can discover information with the click of a mouse - or more likely, the tap of a mobile screen.

Now more than ever, companies should work proactively to protect their online reputations while still appealing to their target audiences, according to Steven Wyer, CEO of Nashville-based Third Coast Interactive.

Wyer is slated to keynote RUTHERFORD Cable's monthly breakfast meeting from 7:15-9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at Stones River Country Club, located at 1830 N.W. Broad St. in Murfreesboro.

During his presentation, Wyer will describe corporate digital branding, explain search engines (and what they actually do), and address online reviews and complaints. And perhaps most importantly, he will provide solutions that leadership teams can execute now.

RUTHERFORD Cable members and guests are welcome, and the public is invited to attend; the cost for this meeting is $20 and includes breakfast. Reservations are available online at rutherfordcable.org and must be completed by Thursday, July 7.
