An apartment complex on the New Lascassas Highway called Murfreesboro Police after receiving a suspicious package, possibly belonging to one of their residents. Officers responded and say the package had a strong smell of marijuana to it.

Police hand delivered the package to the recipient who lives at the apartment complex in question. The recipient, 21-year old Julian Reese, allegedly had the sender of the package put someone else’s name on the shipping address, but that did not stop him from admitting to have the package sent.

Reese will appear before a judge to face felony marijuana possession charges on February 27, 2014. By the way, authorities seized 140-grams of marijuana.
