Riverdale Defeats Franklin; QB Injured (Plus Week 2 Recaps)

Aug 25, 2017 at 11:55 pm by bryan

Riverdale defeated Franklin 24-7, avenging losses to the Rebels the past two season. However, senior quarterback Chrisitian Suffront sustained a leg injury on a 36-yard run. He was taken off the field to an ambulance.

Up 14-nothing at that point, the Warriors would find the end zone for a third time behind the running of Savion Davis. He scored all three Riverdale touchdowns on his way to 201 yards on 21 carries.

They'd tack on a 25-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
