It's a three-peat for the Riverdale Lady Warriors:

Jon Dinkins with the call on State Farm Prep Sports as Riverdale claimed a 77-50 win over Houston for the Class AAA championship.

Senior Brinae Alexander says she's believed all along her team could win their third straight state title:

Alexander, a Miss Basketball finalist and Vanderbilt signee, finished the game with 18 points and eight rebounds in limited play because of foul trouble.

Head coach Randy Coffman was emotional talking about the legacy this team will leave on girls basketball in Tennessee:

Coffman took over the program three-years ago and his teams have a 102-5 record, four of those losses were in the first season. Alexander, Alexis and Amanda Whittington, Allison Mayeaux, Kennedy Moore and Brylee Puckett are all seniors who played their last game for the Lady Warriors.

Riverdale's junior guard Aislynn Hayes was named the tournament most valuable player and will lead the class of returners. The Riverdale starting five were all named to the all state tournament team. That's Brinae Alexander, Alexis and Amanda Whittington, along with Alasia and Aislynn Hayes.

The season ends with a state title and a 36-1 record for the Lady Warriors.
