Riverdale girls basketball coach Randy Coffman was named this year's Naismith High School Girls' Coach of the Year. The announcement came Monday, just a couple of days after his Lady Warriors won their second consecutive state championship.

Riverdale went 34-and-oh this season, defeating Memphis Central 66-59 Saturday. They're ranked number one in two national publications. There were five finalists, including Coffman and Keisha Hunt from Hamilton Heights in Chattanooga.

Coach Coffman is the first Riverdale coach to win two state titles as head coach. It was the Lady Warrior's sixth state championship since 2007.
