Murfreesboro Detectives have been notified about a possible road rage incident that occurred in the area of I-24 and Medical Center Parkway Tuesday morning. The 43-Year old victim said the suspect tried to pull into his lane of travel and after almost striking the victim the subject allegedly pulled up next to the victim and began cursing him. Evidently the two drivers were going slow enough for the victim to ask the suspect not to cuss because their was a child present in his car.

The official report shows that the subject displayed a weapon while stating an obscene comment. After that comment, the culprit reportedly stated to the victim, “I will shoot you in the face.” The victim said that he slammed on his brakes and the suspect drove away.

Authorities were able to track down the owner because the victim obtained a license plate number. At this point, an arrest has not been made.
