A 25-year old North Carolina man was robbed outside the Sleep Inn on Chaffin Place.

The victim reports to Murfreesboro Police around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, a black male approached him outside the "F" building. He was told to empty his pockets while pointing to what appeared to the victim as a 22-caliber handgun.

The suspect got away with a wallet. He's described as about six-feet tall, slender build and between 30-and-35-years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans.
