Rutherford County, Murfreesboro City School and MTSU students will head back to the classroom Thursday as systems announce they'll be back in session. This after a wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow caused travel issues on the roads early Wednesday.

Both school systems and emergency personnel are closely monitoring the weather for Friday, as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our area for the potential for more snowfall by Friday.
