Rutherford Co. Sheriff's Office and Highway Patrol join forces for another checkpoint

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will hold a sobriety checkpoint Saturday, Aug. 23 on U.S. Highway 70 South (John Bragg Highway).

Deputies and troopers will check drivers who may be drinking and driving. The checkpoint is in partnership with the Governor's Highway Safety Office. Sheriff Robert Arnold told WGNS in a past interview...
