Rutherford County officials will be looking at ways to spruce up the Rutherford County Courthouse and surrounding lawn area.

Deputy to the Mayor Steve Sandlin tells NewsRadio WGNS there are some things they can do this winter to make the focal point of the square as beautiful as it can be:

Some of the inside work would be repairing drywall, replacing carpet and repairing doors, fixtures and more. Sandlin says the County Mayors office will be looking to see what maintenance funds are available for the face lift project.
