A 52-year old South Rutherford Boulevard woman is facing several drug charges after being accused of shoplifting at the Wal-Mart near her home.

Sheila Rankins was arrested by Murfreesboro Police Saturday afternoon just after 1:30 when the loss prevention officer at Wal-Mart alleged she passed all points of sale with 11-dollars in merchandise.

A check revealed active warrants from Huntsville, Alabama, Bedford County and Rutherford County. A search of her purse also turned up a couple of pill bottles with prescriptions that did not belong to her.

In addition to theft charges, Rankins also is facing several counts of violation of parole and possession of a schedule two and legend drugs. Bond was set at 11-thousand, five-hundred dollars.
