Salvation Army Leadership Change; Seiler's Moving to Virginia

The local Salvation Army will soon be under new leadership as Lieutenant Andy and Captain Monica Seiler were notified they'll be promoted to Roanoke, Virginia. They have called Rutherford County home since 2012, but were given farewell orders Monday.

Under the Seiler's leadership here in Rutherford County, they've worked to financially put the Salvation Army on firmer footing while also getting in the trenches to explore the real needs of the community. They've been an advocate for the homeless and an advocate for jobs and public transportation.

As for what she feels like is the biggest accomplishment during their tenure here in Murfreesboro...

As Captain Seiler recalls additional accomplishments, she says many will be things that the public may not see...

They're also currently planning the first ever "Beyond the Bells Luncheon," a fundraiser that will also further the message in the community.

The Seiler's, along with their two sons Elijah and Benjamin, will depart from Murfreesboro in June for Roanoke while Captains Joseph & Melissa Irvin will begin their service here at that time.
