One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash early Saturday morning on Manchaster Pike.

Sergeant Kyle Evans told NewsRadio WGNS, "A single vehicle left the roadway and flipped, killing one occupant and sending another to Vanderbilt by Life Flight."

The fatal accident occured around 6:00 o'clock Saturday morning in the 4800 block of the Manchester Pike, near Joe B. Jackson Parkway.

The Murfreesboro Police Department's FACT team (Fatal Accident Crash Team) is investigating.
