Shortly after 11:00 o'clock Saturday (6/8/2019) morning, Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to an outbuilding fire with injury in Christiana.

As units got near the Lone Eagle Drive location, heavy black smoke could be seen. That's when they save a recreation vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the back yard of the home. Although firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly, it was still a total loss.

Paramedics from Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services treated the injured person, and then rushed them to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

The cause of the blaze is not known at this time, and is currently under investigation by the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department's Investigation Team.
