A developer has proposed to develop 91 townhouses in the area around the Oaklands Park Wetlands. There will be an organizational meeting for SAVE OAKLANDS WETLANDS at 6:30 this coming Thursday evening (6/1/2017) in meeting room A at the Patterson Community Center, 521 Mercury Boulevard.

Center for Historic Preservation Research Assistant William Matthew Whitten made a web comment, "Overpopulation is systematically eradicating the very fabric of not only the natural physical landscape, but our cultural heritage and therefore our societal values.
