The Rutherford County Farmer's Market has free classes that begin at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center each Tuesday and Friday while the market is open. On Friday, October 3, the topic is "Fermented Vegetables." This class starts at 9 a.m. as well and will be given by Dr. Tony Johnston, Associate Professor at MTSU.
Learn the ins and outs of preserving vegetables using the ancient method of brine pickling! This is sure to be a fun class.
