Four people were injured, including a five-year old girl, in a serious crash in Rockvale Friday morning. The crash occurred around 10 at the intersection of Windrow Road and Walter Leathers Drive. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports the child was ejected from the car and was not in a child restraint device. Authorities report the Chevy Ventura minivan, driven by 20 year old Ana Maradiaga of Murfreesboro, was attempting to turn onto Windrow when she turned into the patch of a GMC pickup, driven by 50-year old Connie Reeves of Rockvale. Maradiaga and another passenger in her car were taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center, the five-year old was taken there by LifeFlight.
